Wild linden honey

Honey collected in the Transylvania region in Romania with Kosher certification in a bucket suitable for contact with food.

The two spontaneous species in Romania are Tilia cordata (wild lime) and T. Platyphyllos (local lime). Single-flower honey, often found mixed spontaneously with honeydew honey produced on the plant itself, it is a honey with peculiar characteristics appreciated in its taste and aroma.

Linden nectar is remarkably aromatic, with a medium intensity odor, fresh, minty, balsamic from a pharmacy or medicinal, reminiscent of the scent of lime herbal tea.

Normally sweet flavour, sometimes with a bitter aftertaste. Intense aroma, of menthol and camphor, of a medicinal type, of fresh walnut, of medicinal herbs, very persistent.
